Gamestory(Tentative title)

You will need paper, penicl, an eraser and two six sided dice for this game.

There are 4 basic stats and various sub stats.

The basic stats are:-

Strength - Determines the amount of Damage you do to monsters, also figures in calculating your weight capacity.

Agility - Determines your Attack Speed, your Dodging ability and figures in your Casting speed.

Vitality - Determines your Hit Points and figures in your Weight Capacity.

Intelligence - Determines the amount of damage your spell does, your Mana and your Casting speed.

You have a total of 25 stat points when you start to distribute among your stats. You must invest atleast one point in each stat and different character classes require different stat combinations.

Character classes

There are 4 character classes for now.

Warrior
Acolyte
Thief
Mage

3 of the sub stats are pre-determined by the formula mentioned below. The remaining sub stats, on which I shall elaborate later, will vary from turn to turn depending on your throw but your basic stats will figure in these calculations too.

Weight capacity - Vitality*3+Strength*1.5+30
Hitpoints - Vitality*4+70
Mana - Intelligence*4 + 20

Food and Medicine packs can heal any HP loss that you might have incurred. Elixirs can be used to replenish mana and gold is sued to purchase equipment and for various other purposes throughout the course of the game.

Always try to pick up things that you find. They might prove vital later on in the game. But be careful, you may not exceed your weight limit.

Some types of armour and weapons are class specific or may require the character to have a particular amount of a stat in order to be able to equip the item.

The classes

Warrior - The warrior relies on his high vitality and strength to deal out great amounts of damage and ideally, has the highest hit points. The warrior may equip any weapon except wands and weapons specifically meant for other classes. He may wear any armour except robes.

Thief - The thief does not hit as hard as the warrior but he hits fast and disappears as quickly. Agility is his best friend, followed by strength and vitality. Thieves have the ability to steal from other people. Thieves also have the ability to Hide, which enables them to move without being seen.

Priest - The Servants of Mithros are holy men dedicated to preach peace and joy, and if need be, to fight to preserve those ideals. Mithros forbids his servants from using any bladed weapons and from wearing any sort of metal or leather armour. The priest may only wield hammers, maces and staves and wear only robes. The priest has a special stat - Faith, which is used for many of his abilities and is replenished by Meditation. You gradually lose faith, at the rate of 2 faith per turn. When you use skills which require Faith, you only need to have that much faith. Any faith that you have is not deducted upon using the skill.

Meditation - Replenishes Faith. You gain 10 faith per turn and there is a maximum limit of 100 faith.

Heal - Replenishes the character's hitpoints or the hitpoints of anyone that he/she targets. Mana cost 8, required Faith - 30.

Mithros' Justice - Mithros strikes your opponent with a Holy bolt doing massive amounts of damage. Mana cost 20 Faith 100

Holy Aura - Enchants your weapon with a holy aura allowing you to do more damage. Especially powerful against Undead opponents.Mana cost 15 Faith 45. Remains active for 3 turns after casting.

Mage - Scholarly and well versed in the manipulation of nature, the mage has control over the elements of nature - Fire, Water, Earth and Wind. Intelligence is the most important stat for a mage, followed by Agility and Vitality. Mages may only use staves and wands and may only wear robes. In the beginning, the mage can choose from one of the following four elemental spells -

Firestrike - Hurls a ball of fire at the opponent. Mana cost 10
Shard volley - The opponent is struck by sharp shards of ice moving at very high speeds. Mana cost 10.
Rolling stone - Strikes the opponent with a boulder moving at high speed.
Lightning bolt - The opponent is struck by a single bolt of lightning. Mana cost 10.

Now pick your Class and allot your stats.
