"Goodbye, Mom! Goodbye, Dad!"
After hugging her parents one final time, Molly waved at them. She had just finished setting up her half of the dorm room in Wallace Hall, the standard dorm for freshmen at Montgomery University. Molly felt a mixture of nerves and excitement as her parents slipped away. She was going to be living on her own for the first time in her entire life. The campus was huge, and Molly didn't even know where to start.
Just then, Molly's roommate spoke for the first time. "You're Molly, right?" she asked. At the same time, Molly could feel her stomach rumbling. All that movement of storage boxes made her hungry.
