The Accidental Time Traveller
The current date and time are June 2022, 2 pm. I stand in a kitchen making a cup of tea where I spill boiling water on the counter top causing me to step backward. I trip on the uneven tiling and fall backward onto the floor, or do I? Instead, I fall into a portal that opens up with a bright, purple, swirling pattern. Once I am completely inside the portal, it closes causing a bright flash.
I am now falling through the astral plane and can see the past present and future all at the same time. I perceive everyone's thoughts, sights, and sounds. This overwhelms me and makes me black out.
I wake up on a dirt road, beside me I see a horse grazing on the grass and a local farmer walking towards me.
