The Korean War

on June 25th 1950, North Korea invaded South Korea along the 38th parallel. On that day, North Korean troops coordinated an attack at several weak spots along the border and made their way towards Seoul, the capital of South Korea. At the time, the Soviet Union was developing nuclear weapons and had even dropped an atomic bomb in 1949. The Soviet Union also wanted to spread and expand communist influence into Korea. On the other hand, The US was firm in encouraging the establishment of democracy, everywhere. This disagreement is what led to the Korean War. In the US, Preident Truman is considering entering the war, in order to help their ally, South Korea. What should Truman do?
