Soulbound~Chapter Six

As I entered the main room of my house I looked up at my mom to see her smiling at me. At first I thought she saw what happened outside but, “Your aunt and cousin are coming over” she said with a huge smile. Aunt? Cousin? What? I decide to ask her about it because I’ve never heard of her having a sister. She sighs and says, “it’s a long story. I’ll explain when she gets here.” I sat on the couch with my bear in my hands. Then the doorbell rings a woman identical to my mom but she has a gold string attached to her ring finger. She smiles at me. “Lacey! Oh my god you’ve grown up so much!” She then looks at the large teddy bear I'm clutching to my chest, “Well kind of” She laughs. I blush and set it down. My mom practically runs into the room. She hugs who I think is her twin. Suddenly I see who was walking up behind her. Chase? No. What? Oh god this is so confusing. He looks up at me with a confused look. I shrug at him as if to tell him I also have no clue what’s happening. My mom smiles at me and says, “Lacey this is your cousin Chase!” I stare and say, “ok I’m gonna go to my room today’s been very eventful and I have plans.” My mom glares at me and Chase just awkwardly stands there. “Lacey you have been out all day.” I sigh. Just wait once Aria gets here she can drive me very far away. Yes that will work. After several long minutes there’s a knock on the door. I run to and open the door. “Help me please.” Aria stares at me and says, “what happened” I point at my new aunt and cousin. I grab her wrist and drag her upstairs. Once in the safety of my room I say “so apparently Chase is my cousin. Yayyy” she stares. “Oh and I had a date with Kade.” I quickly add. She smiles, “tell me tell me tell me” I laugh and tell her. I wait until Chase and my moms sister leave to go down stairs. My mom stops me and explains what happened with her sister. I sit down on my bed once I’m back in my room. Aria left a while ago she probably stopped and talked to chase and his mom. Oh god I have school tomorrow. At least I still have Kade...
