Soulbound~Chapter three
You try to find Aria to talk to her about Kade but, coincidently (not a coincidence but ok) you bump into Kade. He smiles at you and says,
“ Hey Lacey. Are you ok? You look a little overwhelmed.”
“A little overwhelmed? I’m very overwhelmed can’t you see that? AND it’s your fault” you think
And instead of saying what’s on your mind you say,
“I’m fine Kade, thanks for asking, I’m just looking for my friend Aria.” I reassure him. Just then seemingly out of nowhere Aria pops out
“ You called?” She asked
“ Ah yes come in let’s go.” I say avoiding Kade’s glaze.
“ Bye Bye Kade” she says
I drag her in the restroom
“ What is it Lace?” She asks
“ OksoyoumayhavebeenrightaboutKade.” I say quickly. She laughs and says
“ Oh I definitely was. Is this really what you wanted to talk about?” Aria asks
“ kinda anyway let’s leave now.” I say
“Ok” she says looking at me with a worried expression. This expression almost melted away on the walk home. We when laughing when I felt it. The ache it was back. I told Aria she smiled and said,
“Well I guess you should hurry home then Lace.”
I practically ran home. I went over to my grandma and complained. She sat and listened then said
“I think he is your match.” I couldn’t decide weather it was how calmly she said it or the fact that it kind of made me happy? As if she had read my mind she said,
“Well only one way to know, go check and see if your mark has appeared.” I when upstairs into my bathroom and lifted off my shirt and sure enough their it was. My mark it was a small, black crescent moon. I sighed knowing that the only new person I had met today was Kade. Now how the hell am I going to prove my theory?
