Human Trafficking in our own Backyards

Old homes within the city make for great backdrops for old crimes. They are full of mystery, history, and wonder. Typically, it is difficult to discover who lived where and what their occupation was. Neighborhoods close enough to the downtown could have been home to sketchy figures, secret crimes, and curious dealings.

"That's our history! It's crazy how one place can change so drastically."

But has it changed? Have crime rates in neighborhoods and cities decreased, or has illegal activity developed enough for it to stay under the radar of those living in these same areas.

Denver, located in the Centennial state, struggles with crises such as this one. Human rights violations, such as human trafficking occur right underneath our noses, without any of its residents knowing. This story will tell survivors' stories (as well as some hypothetical).
