In The Day

It was a typical day in Bemidji, Minnesota. As an adult, every day always seemed to slip into the next. Get up. Eat. Go to work. Work. Eat. Go home. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. Your days become somewhat of a routine, so you don't really have to think too much. Your work day is just ending and you catch yourself smiling at the thought of going home and relaxing for the rest of the night. You quickly grab your coat, hastily putting it on as you check your phone. You almost dread as you see that you have two unread messages. It's from your best friend.

Text message: I haven't seen you in forever. Do you want to meet up for dinner? We can go to our favorite spot!

The last part of the sentence catches your attention. Our favorite place? Fozzie's sounds amazing, but so does going home.

What do you do?
