Tiger Trouble

You wake up in a dimly lit cage. You look to your right and see a massive prison cell, you are in your own, much smaller cell. The cell is dark yet you can see a mass in the back of it. You see the mass move forward.
"So you're finally awake." A giant tiger meanders out of the inky darkness.
"Listen, I have an idea on how to escape, and you are needed. If you don't try this, I'll be forced to fight you in the arena. If you don't help I'm going to eat you, though even if we escape I still might have a snack."
