Fossil Fighters: Return

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
You jolt awake and slap the alarm clock shut.

Sunlight shines in through the curtains in narrow beams. It's 9:35 AM.
Your groggy eyes droop down and you almost hit your head on the shelf to slide the curtains open.
The room is illuminated, showing childhood pictures and mementos, notebooks and toys.
Your suitcase sits in the far corner of the room, still unzipped. You haven't bothered to take some of the other objects out.
As you debate in your head whether you should take a look inside, the same debate you've done for the past several years you wonder:

If you'll ever go back.

On the nightstand, your phone lights up. A text message has come in.
You look at the message and it's from someone you never thought you'd hear from again.

"Hey, I know it's been awhile, but do you want to meet somewhere?"
It's a message from Rosie.

Your car zooms down the freeway as the clouds roll in, beads of rain making dot patterns on the windshield.
A semi flies past you blowing a pocket of water on the side of your car.

"Where would you want to go?"
"Maybe that coffee shop at Hartsville. The 'Bottomless Cup'?"
"Oh, yeah. When?"
"Is two good for you?"
"Yeah."
"Okay. I'll see you later then."
"See you!"

You pull up to the parking lot surrounding the 'Bottomless Cup'.
The sign shows a mug with coffee spilling out the top. The lamps and overall design of the place are pretty exotic.
You put the car in park and walk up to the door. You glance down at your watch.
It's 2:00.
"Gee," you think.
You haven't seen her in six years.

You have 1 choice:
