The Darkness Consumes What's Left Of My Soul
You are taking the place of Dylan Harper a high school character troubled by his emotions and scared of his own actions due to past trauma. You have been abandoned by your dad an alcoholic at age 2 and you are now 17. You have been noticing more cases of fear and you have been having more issues with depression and anxiety at least more than your own usual. You are on the last pills of your medication, the only thing that grant your sanity and somewhat soulful peace. When you find out your pills are gone you become almost lifeless and insane. You collapse on the floor and it seems as if you wake up on the next day. You feel as though you notice a chaotic presence hovering above you as you wake. You stand up nearly falling down you notice a shadow appear out of thin air. You notice that the shadow becomes more and more human as you look at it until finally you see the shadow take human form. You hear it say , “Hello we meet again twas 17 years ago in which I met thee. I am of an old soul in which I seek to haunt. I will follow, poke and torment thee in many ways but I may only be stopped once you find something.” The shadow disappears to a mere smudge of black dust. You feel yourself get heavier and heavier as if something has now entered you, and you fall and slowly start to close your eyes peacefully. Until you hear a loud thump and the shadow appears yet again and it wishes , “Sweet dreams my haunted darling.” You have a panic attack and reach for your medication but you fall harder than you have ever fallen before and you don’t wake up. You hear your mother rush up the stairs but she couldn’t get to you in time. You wake up from slumber that lasted a whole 4 days and you look at yourself lifting your lids feeling as though as if you had all of your energy sucked out of you. After you lids open ever so slowly you then notice that your bottle of pills is completely empty. You reach towards them crying and you go to the mirror and search through the medicine cabinet and all your medication is gone and the bottles have no caps on them. You close the medicine cabinet and slide your back against the vanity and hit the floor. Once you fell all the way down you start hitting the floor uncontrollably and your knuckles bleed. You laugh at the sight of blood and then you feel very light and you see white. But then you also see a black shadow appear again but this time it seems to be happy. What do you do?
