Unforgiving Waters

You're wading around in the water of the beach near your home, when a strong wind begins throwing waves at you. You fall over repeatedly, the salt water stinging your eyes. Before you know what's happened, the line of sand on which you once sat is getting farther and farther away. The tide is sweeping you out into the ocean! What do you do?
