Extend the Story - Add a Room

The Realms of Kitlance by ClarkParker
You continue smiling at Snowstar but relucantly start to slip into some clothes for the day.

With a short sigh you decide it is time to get down to business, "So Snowstar? What is your business here, in my room so early?"

Snowstar blushed deeply something that you are not use to seeing the young fairy do, "I am sorry Lord Kitlance, I know I should not have come so early but I have important news from your mother."

Laughing you say, "Snowstar I was only teasing you come now what is your news?"

Snowstar's face turns as cold as a sheet of ice, "I come with a letter from your mother M'Lord. It is very important that you read it now."

You raise an eyebrow, your interest is now peek, "Alright," is all you say as she hands you the letter.

You look down at the letter for a moment and wonder as your eyes fall on the royal seal. You break your mother's seal and open the folds of the letter. There in your mother's handwriting it read this.

To my Dear Son:

Kitlance I am sorry to trouble you with this hard news of such a day. I must warn you my son. The Kingdom has become unsafe for us. Last night I was attacked my son. If it were not for the efforts of my bodyguards Snowstar and Summerstar I would not have lived. In the attack Summerstar was badly injured. I am traveling back to my people the Elves were I can seek healing for Summerstar and were I will be save from harm. Kitlance, I was attacked on my way to see the body of your father. See my son my news is not all bad. I have reason to believe that your father is still alive. I also have reason to believe that it is your uncle that sent my attackers. Kitlance you must leave the castle. It is not safe there at this time. Go to the battle field that your father fell on, maybe there you can find some clues to where your father was taken and if he is still alive. Hurry my son time is very short. We can not let your Uncle get too much support or our kingdom will be his. Worry not for me. I will be safe with my people until your father is found. I love you my son. I know that you are strong and that you can do this. Just remember these words. Even brave men are afriad but still act in there fear. It is the coward that lets the fear control them.

Sincerly

Queen Silva
Always your loving Mother
