Paul's Kingdom
Although your options were extremely limited and both potentially dangerous, you find it most prudent to try to go home now. If you can just reach home before entire darkness envelops everything, you should be fine.
"We'll go home now," you tell Vero. "It'd be unwise not to."
"Just make sure you don't trip over anything," warns Restuit. "I don't want to have to carry you home."
"Right," you laugh as you begin the trek home.
The sun is already ducking behind the trees in front of you, a large orb in the sky lighting the way. You just hope that orb stays lit long enough for you to get home.
As it gradually becomes darker and darker, you hasten your pace so as to get home before it would be too dark to go anywhere.
Luckily you get home before dark and everything's fine. Yes I'm tired of writing this story, aren't you tired of reading?
