Hall of Infinite Doors

You feel your way back up the stairs. It takes forever. Step by step. Step by step. Finally you reach the swtich box. Step by step. You now stand at the top. You look right and see nothing. You look left and see the couch and the opened door.

You start to sneak out and around the couch when you hear a creak behind you. You crook your head slightly and feel a steel blade slice through your spinal column. Your feet go limp and you fall to the ground. Your heart seizes up and stops beating.
