Extend the Story - Add a Room

You use the climbing gear to decend the mountain, and are careful to make sure that the pegs stick before repelling downward to a suitable landing area.

It is a slow moving decent, but certainly much faster than what you would have encountered by walking the paths down the mountain.

After a very long decent you find yourself in a thick forrest which continues to decend down the steep mountain side. You hear a rush of water far ahead and below. It appears your decent of the mountain is not yet over, but the terrain is a little more favorable at te very least.

You take a swallow from your canteen as you look around the area, deciding where to go next.

The ground continues to decend through the wood towards the sound of the rushing water, south east of your position. There is a trail that you can see which seems to lead towards the water and up the mountain side a bit. You're not sure how far it goes.

You twist the cap back onto your canteen and decide which way to go.
