Summer Vacation

This is your chance, you think. You lean in a little closer to Emily. She lays her head on your shoulder. You sit like that for quite a while.

The movie ends and you friends go home. Eventually its just the two of you alone.

You consider your next move carefully. But while you are thinking, Emily comes up to you gives you a peck on the cheek and says, "Thanks for helping me move in."

"No problem," you say.

"Wanna hang out tomorrow?" you ask.

"My parents will be arriving around 7 am tommorrow with another load of boxes."

"Hey I can come out and give you a hand."

"Thanks, we'd really appreciate that."

The next morning, you meet Emily's parents. They are really friendly and glad that you helped out.

That night you and Emily go out to a pizza parler. You share a pepperoni pizza, and your first kiss.

Over the course of the summer, Emily and you grow closer and become a couple. Your joy is interrupted by the start of a new school year in which things will begin to change...
