Extend the Story - Add a Room

You consider the matter briefly before stepping into the cave. Your odds against the sword wielder are better than your odds against the wolves. With your hands not far from the dagger hilts, you stand on the oposite wall of the cave.

"Hopefully they won't follow your scent in here," He says.


"That doesn't seem likely," You reply simply.

"We'll know in a few minutes for sure," He tells you.

Your vision darts between the snow covered land outside and the towering man within. His throat rattles with every breath, but his gaze never leaves the valley outside the cavern.

Several minutes pass before you spot the pack heading towards you. There are a dozen wolves in all. There is no doubt that they have found you; no more than there is any doubt about whether this will result in a battle or not. The question is where will the battle take place, and how will you attack?
