Extend the Story - Add a Room

You shake your head, clutching at your mother. "It's going to be too late!" you exclaim, grabbing her hand. You start to pull her away, and she follows unresistingly.

You start leading your mother in the direction of the clearing. It's already starting to rain, and you're quickly becoming drenched. Within a few moments, your clothes are soaked through, and your hair is plastered to your scalp.

By the time you and your mother get to the clearing, the red-haired man who was fighting your father is gone, but your father is lying on the ground, and you can see a wound in his chest.

Your mother lets go of your hand, and rushes to her husband's side. "Katsu!" she exclaims. She abruptly turns to you. "Go and get help!" she orders. "Get one of the soldiers, or the doctor, or something!"
