Extend the Story - Add a Room

Arena by donteatpoop
You are Vladamir Karloff.

You awaken to utter darkness and utter cold. A voice booms over head and echoes all around you.

"Welcome to the Arena, freinds. The contest will officialy begin when I am finished speaking. Around you are your starting items; a pack, a kerosine lighter, a compass, an army knife, two canteens of water, and a days rationing of food. There are 200 hundred contestants in here, we will update you on how the contest is progressing through the loud speakers. Feel free to explore anywhere you like, as the contest progresses we will begin pushing all of you towards the center. No more than four can claim the prize at the end. Every inch of this place is on camera and being sent to a massive viewing office back on Earth, so bear that in mind. Remember, the prize is waiting for you at the end of the road. I wish all of you luck."

Silence. You look around, but everything is still shrouded in darkness. "Let there be light!", the voice booms overhead.

And suddenly there is a glimmer of light illuminating the cavern in which you sit; your back propped up against a stone wall. You look around and find the shadows on the ground which are your equipment. You put every thing into your pack and sling it over your shoulder as you make your way towards the light.

You find it hard to breathe as you walk and each breath you manage to take in is bitter cold. What you exhale fogs up before you.

Eventualy you reach the end of the cavern and find yourself atop a fairly steep hill with a path leading down from the cavern and up beyond it.

Everything is covered in snow and ice. The wind slaps you with it's chill fury, leaving your skin red and your eyes tight.
