Movie Trivia Game Show of Death
You elect to have a swear word branded on your forehead. As awful as the thought of having a permanent obscenity somewhere you can't conceal seems, it is better than killing a loved one in your opinion.
You are immediately fired from your job, as swear words cannot be displayed at work, and you have no way of hiding it. (and yes, it is the F bomb...)
You can't get a job anywhere because of the obscenity. And brands can't be removed, so you are just screwed. But at least you didn't have to kill someone you know. Years later, you begin to think that might have been a better choice.
