Extend the Story - Add a Room

You charge down the hill, heading deeper into the jungle, figuring that your previous life in the jungles on earth will benefit you in this competition. Behind you, you hear your pursuer keeping up.

In the genetic enhancers you designed, you never quite found one that would enhance speed. You have inhuman strength and agility, but the speed of a middle aged man in good health. The woman behind you evidently is in peak physical condition.

But there's no way she can match your superhuman agility. After a knee jarring jog down the hill, the path levels off. You wrap your arm around one tree and use your momentum to spin you around, launching yourself into the foliage at the path side. You duck low and watch as the girl stops at the bottom of the hill and looks around.

You stay where you are and see her looking around for you. It doesn't appear that she has spotted you, but she did look in your direction and you're not entirely sure that she's not just acting blind to your presence.
