The faint smell of burnt flesh, dog hair and the possibility of getting injured or lost in a dark hole was finally enough for Riles to turn around. Backing carefully out of the tunnel, Riles made his way back until he was able to stand up comfortable in the entrance of hole/tunnel.

"That is enough crawl'n around of some damn hole for the rest of my damned life!" Riles exclaimed. Crawling out of the hole, Riles made his way back toward the remains of the central buildings of Outpost #31.
