Extend the Story - Add a Room

"Sensai, wait!" You call after him, jogging to catch up as he stops his progression through the tunnel and waits for you.

"What is it Donatello?" He asks, eyeing you skepticaly.

"It wasn't me smoking that stuff. It was... It was Michaelangelo." You tell him, finding relief in getting that off your chest. "He was smoking it in my laboratory with Casey Jones and I busted them in it. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to get them into any trouble."

Splinter lays a hand on your shoulder again and looks you squarley in the eyes. "Denial is one of the early steps, Donatello. Speak to me of this when you are ready to move on to acceptance."

"But sensai..." You begin to protest. He cuts you short.

"Your eyes are glazed over and irritated and you smell like a Cypress Hill concert. You truly expect me to believe that you haven't partaken in any cannabis consumtion?" He asks you.

"But it's the truth, master Splinter." You say to him.

"You are high right now." He says to you. And if it weren't for the contact buzz you got from the laboratory, you would be able to deny that as well. Splinter looks into your eyes a little longer and then shakes his head. "You disappoint me, Donatello." He turns and walks away from you.

You stand there alone for a while, head hanging low. If only Michaelangelo didn't choose your lab as a location for his partying... None of this would have happened. Now Master Splinter thinks you're a stoner! And it doesn't seem like anything you say can convince him otherwise.

Maybe you should find Michaelangelo and make him clear things up with your sensai. If it came from Mike's mouth, he would have no choice but to believe it. Or perhaps you can find Casey Jones and have him clear your record, he was there, he would know.

Either way, you need your name cleared, and standing here all depressed isn't accomplishing anything. Aside from having one of those two clear your name for you, you could just go along with it and act like you're cleaning up. Acting like you're going to stop smoking pot should be pretty easy considering that you've never smoked it in the first place.

Take the blame for Michaelangelo and act like your cleaning up your act.
