Extend the Story - Add a Room

You decide its best to head home, you've got work in the morning and you can't imagine what excuse you could possibly use if you were late again this month. You're about a quarter of the way home when the image of a young woman screaming in the middle of the street as she's about to be struck by an oncoming vehicle flashes in your mind. You're quite shaken by what you've just seen and slam your foot down on the brake pedal. Seconds later a woman heavily burdened with packages from a nearby department store steps out from between two parked vehicles, noticing your approach at the last moment but its too late for her to move now. She screams in horror, her packages thrown into the air as your vehicle bears down on her.
