Extend the Story - Add a Room

The Third Eye by donteatpoop
You start running. He doesn't react at first, probably surprised by your move. When he does react you don't hear the crack of a gun shot, but a brick in the wall explodes into a powder with the impact of a stray bullet just inches from your face. He must be using a silencer, you think. You can hear his footsteps behind you with every step you take.

You round a bend and come out onto the main street. A police officer stands near a parked car writing up a ticket. You glance over your shoulder and see the man walking towards you, hiding his gun in his jacket pocket.

You are considering a couple of options. You can go to the officer and tell him about the man following you. Or you can always just continue walking as though nothing is wrong, talking to the police carries the possability of explaining how you got the briefcase in the first place.

So what do you decide?
Tell the officer about the guy who threatened you and is now following you.
