The Third Eye by donteatpoop
"Mrs. Richland?" You say as you stop before her.

"Yes..." She answers, eyeing you suspiciously.

"Mr. Richland sent me to find you. He asked that I get the money from you for him." You explain.

"You work with my husband?" She asks, a bit suprised to learn this.

"I do." You say.

"Realy?" Her mouth sneers a bit. "What do you do for him?" As she asks the question, you know that only one answer will satisfy her. All of his employees do the same thing. She is baiting you, but she doesn't realise that you can answer her question with the exact answer she wants to hear. What do you do for him?

"What ever he asks, Mrs. Richland." You respond. Grudgingly she decides that you are indeed one of her husbands assistants, albeight a scruffy one. She hands the money to you. "Tell him I love him."

"Will do." You answer with a smile. She gives you a phoney smile and walks away. That was almost too easy, you think. Then you hear her cell phone ring. She answers it.

"Well I was on my way, but one of your assistants stopped me to get the money." Shit, you think. You glance back at her and she looks at you, her eyes narrow. "I think I was just robbed." She says into the phone. You smile back at her like a mentos commercial. It looks like she's about to raise an alarm.

What do you do?
Talk to her, try to calm her down. Try to talk your way out of it. The last thing you need is the police coming after you.
