The Ninja Epidemic by donteatpoop
Quickly and quietly you step into the bathroom as Harrys' mom ascends the stairs. She walks across the hall to Harrys' door and just before she turns the knob, the cat lets out a loud meow from beside you.

You hear her footsteps coming towards you. "What's the matter, Lucky?" The cat meows and steps over to the door opening as she makes cooing noises. She bends down and takes it up in her arms. She is so close now that you can smell her cheap perfume. Your heart is pounding in your chest, so hard that you almost fear she will hear it.

Then she starts to walk away, talking to her stupid cat like it understands what she is saying. "What's the matter? Do you just need some attention?"

Then you hear the cat jump from her arms to the ground and meow some more. It's headed your way. "Are you hungry?" Harry's mom asks it. It meows in reply.

The bathroom door swings open and you do your best to stay behind it. She enters and takes care of the cat, dumping some food from the cat food bag into the dish. The cat meows in thanks and begins eating from the dish, purring loudly.

Harry's mom glances in the mirror, and in the reflection, your eyes meet. She jumps a bit, startled. "Oh!" She calms down a little when she realises it is you, but she still seems nervous.

"What are you doing?" She asks of you.

"I came to check on Harry." You tell her. It's the Gods honest truth, too. You are trying to avoid lying to her, moms can tell when you're lying.

"Why are you hiding behind the door?" She asks.

"Well..." You begin...
Tell her the truth, that you found Harry dead and you were afraid that everyone would think you did it, so you hid and were planning on running when she walked into Harrys room.
