The Third Eye by donteatpoop
You are fearless. You swing around real quick with the briefcase and connect with the mans jaw. He stumbles a bit and his gun-arm swings wide. As he readjusts his footing and attempts to point the gun at you again, you ram him with your shoulder, knocking him to the ground on his back. Before he can react you stomp down on his gun-hand. Instinctively he drops the gun and you scoop it up before he can do anything. This man has found, like so many others, that fighting someone who knows every move you're about to make is next to impossable. As long as you can keep contact with his eyes, you can predict his every move. Just like when you point the gun at him, you can predict that he will run away. And he does.

He scurries out of the alleyway and onto the street without looking where he is headed. You watch with detatchment as he is hit head on by a taxi-cab. Poor guy, you think, he just picked the wrong person to try to rob.

You pick up the briefcase and head for your apartment. You enter the building and walk the hall to your door. You step in and set the case absently next to the couch. You open the refridgerator and pull out a Newcastle. You open it and start drinking. It is a celebratory beer.

As you get halfway through the brew you decide that you need to go out tonight. But you're not sure where. You're thinking either The Crowded House or Mickeys'.

The Crowded House is a high class joint that you usualy can't afford, but that doesn't seem to be the case tonight. They usualy have a good live band, too. The women there are upperclass and snooty, but very beautiful. On the other hand there is Mickeys', a... less expensive bar which occasionaly has a good live band. The babes, while present, are not quite as classy as the ones at The Crowded House. But they are definatley more down to earth. You also have a few friends who frequent Mickeys'.

So where are you drinking tonight?
