Helot

You take Eurid out, and face him towards the oncoming guards.

"I will kill him! Come no closer or he dies!"

They stop in midstep. You now speak to Eurid directly.

"Let us all go and you will not die."

"Fine!" he shrieks like some lost little girl. "You win! Have your freedom! Please, just don't kill me!"

To make sure that the guards do not follow you and your army, you take Eurid out of the room with you. They do not follow.

"Where are you taking me? I demand you release me this instant!"

You laugh. "Oh, who's the helpless one now? Your pitiful cry for help lightens my heart. Today I will get my revenge for my family's death."

You are out of the manor. Your army continues to watch out for guards. None come.

"But you said you wouldn't kill me!"

"I won't. But you will be my slave. My helot."

And so the tale ends. You, far away in Thebes, start your own farm with your army as your paid servants and Eurid as your slave.
