Extend the Story - Add a Room

You know the desk and stairs aren't going anywhere so you decide to look around the foyer more. There's debris and papers all over the floor and you have to step over all of it to walk.

The walls are done up in some tacky, old looking wallpaper that's peeling off left and right. It's a dark color and doesn't help the lighting in the room much. There are no fluorescent lights in the place and you can't tell where the light is coming from. It seems like some kind of self contained glow, but you put it off. There are some pictures on the walls of the staff, and a few landscapes with beaches and palm trees. There used to be chairs lining the walls but they're strewn about the room. Vandals probably came by and destroyed the place a long time ago. You can't see the ceiling. It may be three stories here. In the center o the room is a statue of a nurse holding a child. It's old and looks like it's rusting. There's a light blinking in the reception desk that you didn't notice earlier. Maybe the power is on the place.

Go up the stairs instead.
