You had begun your killing spell since he had begun laughing.

"Are you going to smack me on the head? Oh well, no matter! Prepare to die!" Killion takes out his sword, but before you could stab him you release your magic.

Killion falls over dead. One of the Black Cloaks jumps in amamzement. "You killed Killion! You're now the leader of the Black Cloaks! What should we do for you, m'lord?"
