The Choice of Ages

All you hear from this man, rings in the deepest depths of your soul as being true, and even though you could not talk, you tell Jesus that you accept him as the true Lord of your life, and that you know you have sinned and are sorry for those sins, and that you accept his free gift of salvation. As you finish a peace beyond understanding enters your body, and tears start flowing from your eyes. With your last breath you shout out "I Accept you and praise you Lord Jesus". The last earthly sight you see is that man throwing his arms up in the air and praising God. Then blackness. Immediately replacing the blackness is light a light so beautiful that you cannot describe it. And there before you is the most wonderful person you have ever seen. It is a man, and he is wearing robes that are stained with blood. in his wrists are scars as if a spike had been driven through them, his feet also bore similar wounds, and it appeared as if something had pierced his side. He walked toward you and the love he had for you was a tangible thing.

"Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the Kingdome that was prepared for you since the beginning".

"But Lord what did I accomplish I did not accept you until the moment before I died"?

"Look" And you looked and saw the same scene you had just left, with your body still under the car. And there was the man who had told you about Jesus, and all the people who had gathered were fervently asking him questions and he was answering them with zeal. "Because of your belief, all these others and many more have been added to the Kingdome" he embraced you and led you into your new life of peace.
