Ignoring the jet sleds your run down the stairs toward the courtyard. The courtyard is lined with various buildings and is the intersection for a number of larger passageways. From one of them you hear the echo many foot steps.

A detachment of soldiers is heading this way! From where you are standing you can see the gate leading outside the palace. But it is across the courtyard from you.

Take another passageway to avoid the soldiers
