Pitch Black

You hear a small click, then nothing for a moment. A low grating noise begins, and you can feel it through the floor and the walls. You stumble around trying to figure out what's going and run into a wall. It feels like it's moving slowly. You grope around to find another wall and it's definitely moving, more quickly than the other. You panic and grope around the room blindly for anything to save you. You find the chain hanging from the ceiling.

There's only one thing to do, try and climb it. With all your strength you try to pull yourself up. However, the chain is coated in some kind of slime. You lose your grip on it an fall back to the ground. The walls are so close now you can feel them when you reach out your arms. You close your eyes and wait.
