Eldara VR
Colby hovered his hand over the game named ‘Kaiju Rampage’ as he did, a short trailer for the game began to play.
It showcased a person now giant sized in a city, destroying buildings and stomping on cars, all whilst the tiny people NPC’s down below ran away screaming. The trailer ended with a giant shoe stomping the camera.
“Awesomeee” The young boy muttered to himself as he clicked the button on the VR controller, opening the game.

Danny was still in the black void, unsure of what had even happened. Somehow he’d been shrunk in Eldara, his giant brother showed up, nearly squashed him flat and then an instant blackness.
It was then Danny could hear something in the distance, the sound of…people screaming? And a roar…
“What the hell?”
Suddenly, Danny was now in the middle of a busy city street. Cars and people all around him. It was clear by the graphics that this was a game he was in, but it certainly wasn’t Eldara, everything was so modern.
He could see the NPC’s of the game all had realistic models too, he could have easily confused them for other players if not for their strange movement patterns and lack of expression. They paid no attention to him as he stood in the middle of the street.
High above him stretched skyscrapers, office buildings, apartment blocks, He was sure he recognised this place…
“I’m in…Miami?”
Danny had only been to Miami a few times in his life, but it was clear he was right in the center of the city.

‘Choose your Size!’ Flashed up before Colby, with a scale slider allowing him to choose anywhere between 20 feet, all the way up to 1500 feet tall. A small cartoon graphic displayed a human figure next to a building and a normal sized person, it changed size as the slider was moved.
The shorter than average boy took no time to decide as he slid the scale all the way to 1500 feet and clicked ‘Enter Game’
‘Location to Destroy: Miami, Florida’

Within an instant, the once dormant NPC characters started to frantically panic, Danny was overwhelmed with screams from all directions, cars now crashing in signposts and traffic lights. A stampede of people running down the main street.
As Danny turned around to see what they were running from, his knees nearly buckled. Standing high above any skyscraper was Colby.
From this angle, he looked like Godzilla.
Danny could only watch in horror as in the distance, his younger brother’s face lit up in amazement once more, looking down towards the city.
“WOAH I’M REALLY A GIANT” Despite the distance, Colby’s, now deep, voice still boomed through Danny’s ears, causing him to cover them with his hands.
The young giant lifted his right leg high into the sky, his large socked foot was the size of a football field as it loomed over a cluster of buildings.
“LOOK OUT BELOW”
*BOOM*
The earth Danny stood on shook from the impact of the stomp, a large dust cloud billowing up in the distance around the foot.

As Colby stomped his foot down onto the bedroom floor, he saw the buildings in the game crumble below him.
‘+1000 points! Mega Destruction!’
“Rawwwr, run from me tiny people!” Colby let out a small giggle as all the small, tiny, ant-sized NPC’s ran away.
Swinging his foot up once more over a large crowd of them, he slammed it down, their screams stopping.
‘+300 points Crowd Stompin’!’
“This is so cool, I can’t believe Danny didn’t show me this one”
Colby proceeded to walk further into the city, every stomp with purpose, trying to score as many points as he could.
Amidst all the chaos, Colby spotted something…odd.
One of the NPC’s wasn’t running away.

Danny couldn’t move, he couldn’t believe what was happening.
He saw his gigantic brother, impossibly tall, looming over this replica city, and he was heading his way.
Intentionally stomping everything he could see...
“COLBY” He waved his arms at the giant “COLBY IT’S ME DANNY! I’M IN THE GAME”
As he shouted he noticed Colby was actually looking right at him.
“YES, YES COLBY LOOK HERE”
However the giant only had a confused look on his face.
“THIS ONE MUST BE GLITCHED” the voice from above delivered a harsh reality onto Danny.
“Glitched? Wha-...NO NO COLBY I’M NOT AN NPC!!!” He cried back.
"KINDA LOOKS LIKE..." The boy didn't finish his thought out loud.
His brother now stood over him again, a familiar sight as the socked foot raised into the sky, the remnants of buildings and cars scattered over the surface, with plenty of small red dots…
“NO COLBY PLEASE”
*THUD*

Slamming his foot down onto the 'glitched NPC', Colby received more points to his score.
‘+10 points! Like a bug!’
‘Player 1 has disconnected’...
