A short door riddle

You see a door labeled ending, you feel like it's a trap but decide to walk through anyway, Eclipse turns around and speaks, "We've made it!" You look at Eclipse and smile. Then you look down. The floor below you gives way and you fall into a never-ending pit. Will you ever hit the bottom? Who knows. Eclipse falls with you.
