Everything Went Dark
It was settled: Evie would sleep outside. The two gave her extra blankets so she wouldn't freeze. They had a lot of extra blankets now. They said goodnight and wished her luck. After making sure Evie was comfortable-ish, the other two inside the tent went to sleep.
The next morning, the small group woke up to find only Evie still outside. Evie was not innocent. Because Evie had just been outed as one of the cannibals, Jordan and Addie forced her to "volunteer" as the next meal for the group. No one said anything or asked why. They were happy to have a promised meal. Later that night, Evie was taken out into the woods. Everyone turned the other way as a gunshot rang out.
Almost as soon as the gun was fired, Jordan and Addie felt really weird and dizzy. Their vision was replaced with a flurry of bright colors. The portal back to the present! It was open. Not knowing what to do, Jordan closed her eyes. All she could see now was the swirling portal. After a minute or so of more bright, flashy colors, Addie was back at REV. She was in her own clothes again, which was really nice.
Jordan looked around for Addie, she was standing nearby. That was good. But where were the others? And then Jordan saw the six piles of clothing along with items their friends may have had on them at the time. There was no sign of their friends anywhere else. Evie and Emma had killed their friends. And Jordan and Addie were some of the people who ate them. Addie was speechless. Jordan shook her head. This can't be real. She closed her eyes. Then reopened them. No friends, only the clothing piles. Jordan closed her eyes again and everything went dark.
