What was the point? It's not like she could get medical assistance anytime soon. Tatum closed her eyes.
But she couldn't die. She tried, but just couldn't.

Tatum opened her eyes and pushed herself up. She ignored all the pain she was feeling. It seemed to disappear and was replaced with adrenaline and determination. Tatum looked at her surroundings. She could walk. She could catch up to Emma and Addie. Tatum was about to attempt to stand up when she felt something on her arm.
Her heart sank. It was the snail. Everything went dark.
