Everything Went Dark

Of course! There was no way that anyone could find evidence of what happened if she ate the note! Jordan pulled the crumpled note out of her pocket and crammed it into her mouth. Jordan's idea of eating the note was very impulsive. So impulsive that she had totally forgotten that she shouldn't be doing anything suspicious in front of the guards. Maybe they didn't see her eat the note? Nah, they totally saw her. Sensing something was wrong, one of the guards asked her to spit the paper out. Jordan kept her mouth shut. The other guard poked her head with the barrel of their gun, urging her to spit it out. She refused. The guard didn't remove the gun from her head and didn't even hesitate to shoot Jordan. Everything went dark.
