Everything Went Dark
Jennan had a pool of blood surrounding her. She could be close to death, if not, definitely injured. There weren't any guards actively watching her, so Jack made a beeline past Jordan to get Jennan. He kneeled down next to her and noticed that it wasn't worth it. Jennan had died. Her body was cold and the amount of blood leaving her body was extreme. Jack swore and stood up. Mistake. Tons of guards swarmed the area and began to fire at anyone who looked like they were revolting. That meant Jack. A few bullets hit Jordan and the guard that was holding her. Addie screamed. Sounds like she was hit as well.
A dozen bullets soared toward him and plowed into his chest. He stumbled backwards and fell off the podium. The panic in the crowd was terrible. No one had even noticed him on the floor. There were too many who laid bleeding on the floor to realize there was another anyways. He was kicked out of the way, stepped on, and even shot at again. Still alive, Jack crawled under the podium to get even a moment of peace. Maybe trying to save Jennan wasn't the right move. Jack hacked up blood before taking his last breath. Everything went dark.
