Everything Went Dark
Evie's 'room' wasn't actually a room. But Evie didn't know that. There was a room that Evie could be put in, but he didn't want to take her there. Evie was being much too defiant. She would most likely try to attack him again. So, instead of bringing her to a room, Jack was taking her to one of the storage rooms where he would put Evie into one of the super unstable radioactive tanks. Why'd was that onboard the UFO? They're aliens, what do you expect??
Anyways, after a lot of talking and tense silence, they had finally arrived at the storage room. Jack dragged Evie over to the tank and shoved her inside. He locked it. The top part of the tank was a heavy duty glass, so he could still see her. Evie was banging on the glass. She was shouting, but it sounded muffled. Jack pushed a button on the tank and some bright green liquid started to flood into the tank. The liquid was just a more toxic type of alien goop, or copia emit goo. Either way, it was dangerous enough for aliens. Imagine how dangerous it was for humans.
Evie was panicking even more. She kept pounding on the glass. Jack watched her, not doing anything. When the goop had gotten up to Evie's waist, Jack decided that he was wasting too much time here. He smiled and waved at Evie. He heard the thumps against the glass get louder. He heard his name being called through the glass. But Jack didn't care. He turned the lights off and left the room.
Meanwhile, Evie wasn't doing so well. The goop felt like it would feel if you were standing in acid, except it didn't burn off her skin. It was turning her skin into some goopy flesh slime. So, naturally, she was in a ton of pain. Evie was also pissed off. She wanted revenge. Why the hell did she put the gun down?? She wouldn't be in this situation unless she had shot Jack or something. But she couldn't do anything. Her downfall would be slowly and antagonizing turning into some acid-flesh-slime thing.
Eventually, the pain became too much. The goop had gone up to her stomach. Evie was in so much pain. Even if she got help, it's not like she could be saved. Silently cursing Jack, Evie sucked in a breath. She closed her eyes and dunked her head under the water. The pain had gotten worse, but Evie could feel the pain fading. Everything going dark.
