Unfortunately, the tide is going against you, so you are not going anywhere. The crowd tightens around you and they do violent things to you.
You wake up in a hospital bed. The Holy and Awesome Author is looking at you with a mix of disappointment and…more disappointment.
"I'm not mad. I just want to know why you did that."
"I–"
You don't get to finish, because the Author stands and strangles you with their (godly) hands. "YOU DON'T DO THAT TO PEOPLE! I HOPE YOU LEARN YOUR LESSON!" Then they storm (elegantly) out of the room.
