Ghost Pirates of the Sea-erra Madre
You decide not to go into the interior of the island and stick to the shoreline.
As you're walking along you feel the ground start to shift and a distant rumbling fill the air. Could it be an earthquake? A volcano?
Before you can make up your mind which of these things is more likely you see something moving off shore. It's a gigantic tentacle splashing through the water.
More tentacles emerge from the water and the ground continues to shake. Suddenly you realize what's going on: You're not on an island, but on the back of an enormous kraken!
The "island" begins sinking below the waves and you wonder if it's possible for you to swim somewhere else.
You don't get to find out, as one of the tentacles plucks you out of the water and the last thing you remember is it coiling around your neck.
