RUN!
You fling yourself towards a shortcut through a nature trail, crashing past narrow tree trunks and jumping over roots that stick out of the ground, as if the trail were a death-trap. Your eyes are searing, desperate to blink but you don’t let them close, not for a second. You can feel it stalking you, following you vigilantly between the trees, and your need to confirm the distance between yourself and the monster, becomes your downfall. That quick glance over your shoulder was the biggest mistake you had ever made; your body falling, hitting the ground violently, giving it the perfect opportunity to capture you in its talons.
