Ghost Pirates of the Sea-erra Madre
You go below deck, and things seem even stranger! This isn't your ship, but an ancient sailing ship! You realize that something must have activated the experimental time-dilation engine on your ship, but what could have caused it to merge with something else?
Suddenly, you come across a giant treasure chest, bursting with loot. It can't even close it's so filled with gold coins, jewelry, precious gems, and who knows what else! You reach forward to pick something up when you see a spectral blade moving towards your hand. You just manage to pull it back before it cuts it.
Looking up you see that surrounding the treasure is a horde of ghostly pirates!
Merfolk? Ghost pirates? Strange sunken ships? You've had enough of this.
Jenny Mudge and Louisa insist on at least taking photos of the pirates and their treasure, and you begrudgingly wait as they do so. Thankfully the pirates don't seem to be bothered unless you get too close and spend most of their time playing ghost poker. You think that's weird, but like, why would a ghost even have clothes when you really think about it.
The three of you return to the surface and Jenny Mudge and Louisa drop you off at the Moaray Jr., which is just where you left it.
You make sure nobody touches the experimental time-distortion engine and return home. Seeing Jenny Mudge has reminded you of your true passion, the thing you spent your time on before getting distracted by Atlantis, solving mysteries! You become a detective and psychic investigator and even receive a citation from the FBI. Good job!
