A Murder in Scotland Yard by UnionSoldier63
June 10, 1950
2:32 P.M

The Policeman lay face down in a pool of his blood. A cool wind slashes through your coat, and rain and thunder roars from the sky. Crime scene forensics and other policemen franticly try to get an umbrella or a tarp to keep the crime scene out of the rain. Your assistant, John Watson, stands by your side. You can tell that he is equally as puzzled as you are. Who would murder a man in front Scotland Yard, the biggest most famous police station in the world?
You turn to Watson. “That’s three murders in or around Scotland Yard this month.” You tell him. “The first was a receptionist and the second was another Policeman found across the street last week.”
Watson shook his head. “Who would do this? Who would shoot a policeman here of all places?”
“I don’t know, but I will find out.” You say. “Do you see that large white house over there?” You point at a large Victorian house on the end of the street, barely visible through the rain.
“That house is the only home around here within earshot of this place. Do you think we should investigate?”
Go Check the house
