The Dragon’s Lair
According to your last decision, you yell what spell is right. “ROCK-THROWUS!” you yell into the echoey enclosed room. A rumbling occurs, which the book said might happen when the most power-consuming spell (this one) was cast. A huge rock is formed from the tip of your wand, and the rock gains weight very quickly. Soon the wand cannot support the weight of the probably 500-pound boulder. The wand breaks in two, and the rock smashes your toes to mush. You fall backwards in pain, knocking you out on the cold ground. You fall into a coma-like state, but you can still hear your surroundings. If anything, your sense of sound is better than before, not that your sense of sight is not functioning. You hear huge feet stomp towards you. The dragon! He’s awake! You send mixed signals to your brain on what to do, but in your current state your brain doesn’t do any further action. You sit and wait, hopeless, for the dragon’s claw to strike through your body, which happens five minutes afterwards. You die.
