Extend the Story - Add a Room

You wake with a pounding headache. You got to grab your forehead but find your hands don't reach. Instead you feel the bind of coarse ropes on your wrists. You try to blink away your bleariness and look around. You're still in the Mess hall, but you're tied beside three other men and sat on the floor.

You're feeling much more awake now. There is a man and a woman at the other end of the room, they're too far away fro you to hear what they are saying. One of the men tied beside you is a hired guard while the others are the cook and another crew member. You look around but there's no sign f Leo.

Across the room, the woman ascends the stairs to the deck while the man starts walking in your direction. You don't have your sword with you, and even if you did your hands are still bound. Though from the corner of your eye you see the familiar glint of steel just peaking out over the unconscious guards boot. If you're quick you may be able to take it.

But the man is fast approaching, if you were to try and fail there's no telling what he might do to you. Perhaps he's he kind that can be persuaded.

Or maybe you should play dead and pretend to be asleep still.
