They guide you around to APT 6 at the back corner of the building, and open the door leading you inside.
As you enter the old mud room, you notice the satirical bumper stickers Mandy placed on the walls are now framed.
The old man lowers a velvet rope, as you step inside the living room.
You see it is, for the most part, empty, save for the couch, Josh's chair, the wall unit with TV and games missing, and the kitchen appliances.
There are small informational plaques placed in proximity to the small quirks that could be seen back in the day.
Next to a small black Dunlop pick, reads: "THIS IS THE TYPE OF PICK THAT TAYLOR WOULD HAVE USED ON A REGULAR BASIS. THEY CONSTANTLY FELL OUT OF HIS POCKETS, BUT DESPITE STEPPING ON THEM ALL THE TIME, THE OTHER TWO MEMBERS WOULD SIMPLY DISCARD THEM, INSTEAD OF USING THEM, OR RETURNING THEM TO TAYLOR. THE MAJORITY OF THESE RELICS WERE LIBERATED FROM LONG&MCQUADE, AND MOST LIKELY NONE WERE PAID FOR."
Next to a small, dirty cube with a hole in it sitting in a corner of the room behind the chair reads: "THIS WAS ONE OF 3 'EXTINGUISHING CUBES', PICKED UP AT THE LOCAL DOLLARAMA. THESE, ALONG WITH LIGHTERS WITH TAPE APPLIED TO THEM(FOR IDENTIFICATION PURPOSES), HARLEY DAVIDSON ASHTRAYS, AND METAL CIGARETTE HOLDERS WOULD GO ON TO BE ONE OF THE FIRST PURCHASES MADE BY JOSH, EXPRESSLY FOR PROLONGED USE, HERE AT THE CHURCH. THESE DEVICES WOULD PRODUCE, WHAT WOULD LATER BE IDENTIFIED AS 'HALFIE'S'."
Old Man: "We thought it would be best to not rent this place out again, after The Cloud broke up..."
Martha: "We wanted to preserve the memory. You can come back here anytime and visit. Who knows, maybe your bro's will return also on a whim someday?"
A great feeling of nostalgia passes over you as you give the kind couple a nod, and exit The Church.
